But they’re bona fide Mac using, iPhone toting, iPad loving oldsters who still don’t agree with my lifetime choice in music.
Not only is my Mac loaded with thousands of tracks from iTunes, I’ve managed to rip every rock ‘n roll CD I could find in the greater Atlanta area to add to my collection. That includes some new songs, but I digress.
It’s the rock ‘n roll era where lyrics play a big part. If you want lyrics on your Mac, give a look to DesktopLyrics, an inexpensive Mac app which grabs iTunes’ lyrics and brings them to the Desktop, all big, loud, and proud.
Configuration and setup is simple. Just decide where you want the lyrics to be displayed on the Mac’s screen (including margins, Album Cover size, and so on).
For the Mac rock ‘n roller with a geeky gene, there are plenty of additional settings for fonts, iTunes behavior, and more.
So, your Mac’s screen gets lyrics and other information about the current track. The only caveat here is that you have to have lyrics already in iTunes.
