I thought I had used them all until I ran into Magic Number. This Mac calculator isn’t so much a calculator as it is a way of life for math and number geeks. It’s almost the perfect calculator.
Magic Number lets you enter numbers the way you see numbers and the way we were taught to calculate.
Numbers and formulas can bed edited on the fly. Magic Number solves linear algebraic equations, and pretty much doesn’t care what you throw at it– fractions, percentages, complex numbers.
Take a look.
Magic Number handles over 90 different functions with accuracy to 25 digits. It contains eight memory variables, customizable tax rates, and dozens of scientific constants. Previous calculations can be used from the History function.
This is the calculator for Mac users who love calculators. It’s well worth every penny, and the price tag doesn’t add up to much coin, either. Magic Number is well done and well loved (based on the many four and five star reviews on the Mac App Store).
