When you sync and backup an iPhone or iPad to your Mac, where do those backup files go? How can you browse through the files?
All it takes is the right Mac app. iBackupCare is one of a handful of Mac apps that let your explore iPhone and iPad backup files on the Mac and it could not be much easier to use.
The Toolbar gives you all the basic options to explore your iDevice backup files. Click Backups to see which devices have been backed up to your Mac.
Then, select what information you want to browse through.
Options include Messages, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Movies, Music, Notes, Safari bookmarks, as well as apps and their related files.
iBackupCare can import Contacts and Calendar events to your Mac, too. Browsing is simple and appropriate files can be opened and viewed on your Mac.
iTunes only captures the most recent 100 calls, but still contains a list of calls, time and date, and call duration.
