Your internet connection’s performance is often determined by bandwidth and usage. To get the most out of that connection it pays to find out how much of the bandwidth is being used and which computers are doing the using.
It does exactly what the name suggests. It monitors your home or office network, logs traffic, and displays usage in graphs.
The pop up performance graph displays within the app or in the Mac’s Dock.
Select a network connection to see details, including IP address, net mask, and throughput stats.
The Net Monitor Traffic Log gives you traffic details by specific dates using a simple calendar interface.
Traffic performance reports can be generated as HTML web pages, or XML reports.
One thing I like about Net Monitor is the ability to monitor Macs on the network from one Mac, but it would be even more useful to have a single control panel that captured all traffic data from all devices on a network.
