Got passwords? Yes, you do. And they’re the bane of online life. We have many sites to visit, and many login IDs and passwords to remember. Here’s a free and simple Mac app that creates easy to remember passwords that are also difficult to crack or hack.
Remembering Crazy Words
Mac users can choose from a few dozen apps that store login IDs and passwords. Other apps create difficult passwords from 8 to 24 characters, with a mixture of letters (upper and lower case), numbers, and symbols.
Supposedly, those are difficult to crack because they’re complicated. Because they’re complicated they’re difficult to remember, which means you need yet another app to remember it all.
Enter APG. It’s a simple app that creates passwords. Two words, three words, or four words. Easy to remember words.
Select the number of words and click the Generate! button.
That’s a password that won’t be easy to guess, hack, or break.
You get the idea, right?
APG is as simple as it gets but creates remarkably powerful, difficult to hack or crack, passwords made of words. You could do the same thing and create three or four words you can remember even easier, but it’s more fun to see what your Mac can do for free.
